Atlanta Silverbacks News Release
The Silverbacks W-League announced their 2009 season ticket plan today, as the Women's Season "Family & Friends Pass", which goes on sale TODAY. For $100, fans can purchase the Family and Friends pass which will gain admittance for up to 6 individuals to each of the Atlanta Silverbacks Women's home games for the 2009 season.
"The Silverbacks Women's team offers a great evening out for a family or group of friends. We decided to change our season ticket program to increase the cost savings to our fans, as well as give them the flexibility to bring friends out that may have not attended a women's game in the past," commented Atlanta Silverbacks Women's General Manager, Laura Fedrigo.
With the purchase of the F&F pass, fans can bring different friends or family members to each game. They don't have to worry about distributing tickets, purchasing game day tickets near their season ticket seats, or increased costs that arise if you only had 2-4 season tickets in the past.
"We think the program will allow for more flexibility for our core women's fans. At an average cost of $16 - the Friends and Family Pass is advantageous for even 2 fans, but with this program we are hoping they will bring some friends," said Fedrigo.
The 2009 Silverbacks Women's season will kick off in May and will include a 12 game season - 6 home game and 6 away games. The 2009 Women's schedule is expected to be announced in mid January.
