The Silverbacks Women announced the 2011 coaching staff today, with Chris Adams returning for his third season as head coach and Greg Chevalier returning for his second season as assistant coach.

"We are looking forward to another great season and are keen on having a majority of our top players return," Adams said. "When you end a season playing a professional club like Buffalo, where you see a mix of seasoned U.S. and international talent, you're left wanting more. We see this season as a challenge and look forward to raising the bar."

The Silverbacks Women, who play in the W-League, last year advanced to the league's Final Four; they finished the season with a 7-2-1 record and clinched their divisional title for the fourth straight year.

"Ever year we look to provide a quality training environment and strong program on and off the field," said Women's General Manager Laura Fedrigo. "I know that the fans have always been very happy and impressed with the level of talent in the past, and this season will be no different."

The 2011 season kicks off with a game against Dayton on May 14 at Atlanta Silverbacks Park. Silverbacks Women's season passes are available for $100; these passes admit up to six people for each of the team's five home games.
