
Silverbacks Will See Early Action in Live Broadcasts on Fox Soccer Channel

Atlanta Silverbacks News Release
The Atlanta Silverbacks will appear on the Fox Soccer Channel (FSC) in four home matches during the 2008 regular season as part of the USL on FSC 28-game broadcast schedule. All four Friday night games will be broadcast live nationally from RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium. The Silverbacks' will open the 2008 FSC schedule on April 25 when they host the Montreal Impact. The following week, on May 2, FSC will broadcast the Silverbacks' championship rematch against the 2007 USL-1 Champion Seattle Sounders, only this time Atlanta will have home field advantage. On May 16, the Silverbacks' game against the Minnesota Thunder will be the featured FSC match of the week. And the 'Backs will round out their regular season broadcast schedule on June 6 when they host the Puerto Rico Islanders.
USL Breakaway, the behind-the-scenes feature show that debuted in 2006, will return for a third consecutive season with three more episodes airing in the latter portion of the schedule.
Opening day at RE/MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium will likely take place prior to the Atlanta-Montreal game on April 25 - the full USL First Division regular season schedule is expected to be announced within the coming week.
