(Troy, OH) B.J. Paulus has been on Coach King's rosters for awhile. Paulus, a Greenville, Ohio native, has been a utility player for King's teams in both Dayton, OH and Troy, OH.

"B.J. is a guy that you want on your team and in your locker room," King stated. "He brings a lot of experience, leadership, and faith to our roster. B.J. plays hard no matter what and he is always around the ball."

Paulus (5'11", 195) was a part of an NAIA National Championship with his teammates at Georgetown College. He is entering his fourth professional indoor football league. He played for the Cincinnati Swarm (af2), Evansville Bluecats (NIFL), Dayton Warbirds (UIF/NIFL), and the Silverbacks, who have left the AIFL for the GLIFL.

Paulus, previously a Defensive Backs, was moved to a nickel-style linebacker for the Silverbacks last season.

"He will play DB for us most of the time, but we will use him in several capacities," King added.

The Silverbacks, a member of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League, are gearing up for their 2007 home opener on March 30th. Silverbacks' season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at Hobart Arena, or at (937) 718-7044. Season ticket information is available on the Silverbacks website at www.silverbacksfootball.com.
