Silverbacks' games to be televised
(Troy, OH) The Miami Valley Silverbacks professional indoor football team is proud to announce a partnership with DATV for the 2007 Season.
Producer Dale Grow has agreed to cover three of the Silverbacks home games at Hobart Arena. Grow, an Independent Producer and employee of DATV, brings years of experience working as an Independent Contractor for networks like FOX Sports Net, The Nashville Network and ESPN earned him an opportunity to be the Assistant Tech Manager for SPEED Channels coverage of "Arenacross" at Nationwide Arena in Columbus. DATV, an independent nonprofit organization seen on Time Warner Cable, will broadcast the games to hundreds of thousands of homes in the Miami Valley. DATV has also granted the Silverbacks the rights to broadcast those games on the Silverbacks website at www.silverbacksfootball.com.
"We are extremely excited to be partnered with DATV," said Silverbacks General Manager Matthew King. "This partnership provides our sponsors greater visibility in our market, as well as further promotes our players, dancers, staff members, and organization throughout the entire Miami Valley."
"Our games will be broadcasts from Springboro to as far north as Sidney," King added. "The fact that we will reach so many homes in this area is a giant leap for our organization and our sponsors."
The Silverbacks and DATV will determine at a later date as to which three games will be televised.
The Silverbacks, a member of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League, are gearing up for their 2007 home opener on March 30th.
