Dayton Silverbacks News Release
(TROY,OH)-Miami Valley Silverbacks players will make an appearance at the McDonalds restaurant located inside the Sidney Wal-Mart on Wednesday, April 5 beginning at 6pm. Players will be on hand to sign autographs and give away t-shirts and tickets to this Saturday's game against the Canton Legends.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to meet our Shelby County fans", said Sue Keeton, Director of PR and Broadcasting. "Starting the season with three road games and trying to get ready for the home opener hasn't left us much time to do these types of events. We play at home four times this month, so we have the chance to get out and meet more people."
The Silverbacks, now 2-2, take on the Canton Legends this Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7pm. Each home game has a different theme and this week the Silverbacks will honor military and government employees. Anyone who purchases tickets to Saturday's game that shows a military or government id will receive $2 off the ticket price.
The Silverbacks play at Hobart Arena in Troy. Ticket prices start at $10. To purchase tickets, call the Hobart Arena box office at 937.339.2911.
