Overall, this was a great draft for us."

"Today is a dream come true," Williams said. "I really wanted to stay in Texas and the Silver Stars made that reality. They have a great coaching staff, and I'm sure I can learn a lot of things from the veterans they have on their team. I am grateful for the opportunity the Silver Stars have given me."

"For the Silver Stars to be able to draft Cindy and Toccara with the picks we had puts an exclamation point on a great off-season for us," Silver Stars Chief Operating Officer Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil said. "We did a lot of our work before the draft trading for Shannon "Pee Wee" Johnson and adding LaToya Thomas in the Dispersal Draft. We were able to add a WNBA veteran in Jessie Hicks and sign a great European player in "Biba" Bibrzycka. We couldn't be happier with the way things turned out."
