SAN ANTONIO, Aug. 16, 2010 - The San Antonio Silver Stars raised $42,000 in support of Breast Health Awareness by way of their annual jersey auction following the team's victory over the Tulsa Shock on Friday, Aug. 13, at the AT&T Center. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health Systems Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU), which makes getting screened for breast cancer convenient and affordable for women in Bexar and 16 surrounding counties.

Each Stars player auctioned her game-worn pink jersey in the live postgame auction, with three players adding bonus pink gear to raise over $6,000 apiece: Roneeka Hodges, Becky Hammon and Chamique Holdsclaw.
