
Silver Stars Advance to Western Conference Finals

SAN ANTONIO - The top-seeded San Antonio Silver Stars toppled the Sacramento Monarchs in an overtime game three thriller, 86-81, Monday night to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the second consecutive season.
The Silver Stars will travel to either Seattle or Los Angeles (their series is tied at one game each with the rubber match slated for Tuesday night) for game one on Thursday. Game two will be at 2 p.m. Central Saturday in San Antonio (KMYS My35 and NBATV), while game three (if necessary) is scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m. at the AT&T Center (ESPN2).
Tickets for Saturday's game are on sale now, starting as low as $12.
San Antonio finished the regular season with a franchise record 24 wins and the best record in the WNBA. The 24-10 finish guarantees the Silver Stars home court advantage throughout the 2008 playoffs.
