Silver Knights Home Semi-Final Playoff Game this Friday

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The semifinals of the 2014 Major Indoor Soccer League Playoffs were set on Sunday evening after a thrilling final day of the regular season that saw the Baltimore Blast claim the regular season championship. The Blast will face the Syracuse Silver Knights, who make their debut in the postseason, in the semifinals, while the Milwaukee Wave and Missouri Comets will enter into a rematch of last season's playoff semifinals in the other match-up.
The Milwaukee Wave entered the final day of the season on top of the MISL standings, but were denied the regular season title as the Missouri Comets took a 9-4 victory at U.S. Cellular Arena. Lucas Rodriguez had a pair of goals for the Comets, including an outstanding 3-pointer that sealed victory late in the fourth quarter.
The Wave and Comets will now meet in next weekend's semifinals, with No. 3-seed Missouri hosting Game 1 on Sunday, March 9 at 3:10 p.m. CT at the Independence Events Center. The Wave will then host Game 2, and the potential deciding mini-game, on Monday, March 10 at 7 p.m. CT at the U.S. Cellular Arena. The Comets won last season's playoff meeting between the teams, and also won the regular-season series 4-2 this season.
With the Wave's defeat the Blast were able to claim first in the standings as they cruised to victory against the Pennsylvania Roar. Baltimore enters the playoffs on a nine-game winning streak, with their last loss having come against the Silver Knights on January 19.
Syracuse will host its first playoff game on Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Baltimore will then host Game Two of the series, and the potential mini-game, on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:35 p.m. ET at Baltimore Arena.

Tickets are available for Game 1. Seating priority will be made when orders and payments are received based on purchaser's request and seat availability at that time. Fans will receive credit towards their 2014-15 Season Tickets for any Playoff tickets purchased for games not played.
