Sidekicks Sign Alebic & Couch

DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Sidekicks signed defenders Sinisa Alebic and Kiley Couch to a one-year plus option agreement.

This is Alebic's fourth season of indoor soccer. He spent his previous three years with the Milwaukee Wave where he played a total of 88 games. He accumulated 92 blocks, 14 goals, 10 assists, and 129 fouls. Dallas acquired his rights through a trade with Monterrey on 7/29/03.

Couch will begin his sixth indoor soccer season, his first with the Sidekicks. Dallas also acquired his rights through the same trade with Monterrey. He has played his previous seasons in Portland, Houston, and Cleveland. Kiley excelled in Cleveland where was named Team Defensive Player of the Year in 2001-02, selected to the 2001-02 MISL All-Star Game and finished second in blocks in 2002-03.

In five years, Couch has played in 127 regular season games, totaling 225 blocks and 56 points on 28 goals and 28 assists. He has committed 178 fouls, attempted 171 shots and scored two game-winning goals.
