
Sidekicks Lose 13-8 to Cleveland

DALLAS - The Dallas Sidekicks (7-25) fell to the Cleveland Force (16-16) at Reunion Arena Tuesday night.
Cleveland ran up an 11-0 lead with five unanswered goals. The streak started with first-quarter goals from Chris Stathopoulos at 2:27 and Steve Butcher at 8:52. After a scoreless second period, Cleveland tallied the first three scores of the third quarter from Chris Stathopoulos at 1:56, a Nevio Pizzolitto three-pointer at 7:10, and Giuliano Oliviero at 10:11.
Dallas rallied with goals from David Doyle and Giampaulo Pedroso in the third. Cavitt then scored at 0:15 in the fourth. Oliviero answered for Cleveland at 1:10 of the fourth to get the margin to 13-6. Tatu got Dallas within five points with a power play goal 10:57, but that was the final score.
Dallas has the All-Star break this weekend. David Doyle and Tatu will play in the game at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee March 9. The Sidekicks return to action on Friday March 14 at Kansas City at 8:05 p.m. and Saturday, March 15 at Milwaukee at 1:05 p.m.
