Sidekicks Announce 2003-04 Television Schedule

DALLAS - The Dallas Sidekicks will televise nine road games live on KFWD, Channel 52, during the 2003-04 season. The television package also includes all Dallas Sidekicks' road playoff games for the 2004 Major Indoor Soccer League playoffs.

The MISL plays a 36-game schedule with 18 home and road games. Sidekicks fans will now have visual access to 27 of the 36 games. Each broadcast will last two hours and 30 minutes. Pete Stein will call the action and former Sidekick Dev Reeves will serve as the analyst. Stein is in his second season as the voice of the Sidekicks. Reeves played eight professional indoor seasons, including three as a defender with the Sidekicks from 1993-95. He was part of the 1993 Sidekicks' CISL championship team.

The first broadcast is from the Family Arena in St. Louis Saturday November 22 at 7:00 p.m. The televised games fall mostly in the second half of the season and include seven of the final 11 road contests.

The Sidekicks last televised game was on KSTR 49 December 22, 2001 when the Sidekicks defeated the San Diego Sockers for the 2001 World Indoor Soccer League championship. The Sidekicks last televised regular season games during the 1997 season, the final year of the Continental Indoor Soccer League.

The Sidekicks will also have every game on KSKY 660 AM this season. The season begins at Reunion Arena Saturday October 4 against the Monterrey Fury at 7:05 p.m.
