Shox the Fox visiting Special Olympics Athletes, Players at Otis Elementary

SPOKANE, WA (May 3, 2013) - Today, Shox the Fox will be making an appearance at Mirabeau Park Hotel from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, visiting with the Special Olympics Athletes staying there. This weekend the Special Olympics will be hosting their East Region Spring Games in Cheney, WA on the Eastern Washington University campus. Team check-in and pre-competition events will be taking place this evening and events ranging from Aquatics, Athletics, and Power Lifting will begin at 8:00am tomorrow (Saturday).

On Monday, May 6th from 11:45am to 12:45pm, Shock players and Staff will be visiting Otis Orchards Elementary School and joining students for their recess period. The Shock have made visits to multiple School's over the past few years and enjoy being able to spend time with their young fans of the Spokane School District. For the upcoming Shock game on May 11th against the Orlando Predators, the Shock will be hosting Group Nights for local schools as the school year begins winding down in preparation for summer vacation!
