Shooting Starz talent auditions set for ABA Championship Playoffs

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) and ABA Entertainment today announced that its first open audition for nationwide talent search, Starz in Motion "SHOOTING STARZ," will be held Thursday, March 23 at The German House/The Keg Sports Bar & Grill in Rochester, NY.
The first audition for SHOOTING STARZ makes its debut during the ABA Championship Playoffs being held March 22 through March 26 in Rochester, where the 8 top teams in the ABA will compete for the Championship.
According to Angela Rizzi, ABA VP of Entertainment, "The German House/The Keg Sports Bar & Grill have really rolled out the red carpet for us. Aspiring singers and groups will have the chance to audition to be selected as a contestant in the Shooting Starz Talent Competition, where they will compete for the grand prize. The best contestants will be chosen from the auditions early in the day, and invited to come back later in the evening where they will perform in front of the patrons for live voting by applause. Locals will have the opportunity to come out and cheer for their favorite contestant."
The German House is a beautiful historic landmark, serving the Rochester community for eight decades, catering to such events as concerts, live shows, weddings, meetings and other functions. Downstairs is the Keg Sports Bar & Grill, serving up great food in a fun sports atmosphere. They are located at 315 Gregory Street in Rochester, NY.
The Auditions for the remainder of the competition cities will be posted following the ABA Playoffs. These competitions will take place in ABA cities, tied in with exciting ARCA and NASCAR racing, and other special events. Semi-Finalists from each city will be featured online at www.starzinmotion.com, allowing for voting to take place over a designated period of time. Finalists will then be invited to perform at the Final Competition at the start of the ABA 2006-2007 season. Winners will take part in STARZ IN MOTION, an ABA tour featuring winners; along with the opportunity for recording contracts, production of an original song and other prizes from our sponsors.
