Spokane Shock News Release

May 25, 2010 - Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that OL Brandon Leyritz, DB Ruschard Dodd-Masters and OL Adam Juratovac have been assigned to the 2010 roster. In other roster moves, OL Antonio Narcisse has been placed on the Injured Reserve List, OL Branden Hall has been traded to the Alabama Vipers for future considerations and DB James Todd has been placed on re-assignment.

Leyritz, 6-3 325, is an af2 veteran who spent time with the Arkansas Twisters (2009), the Boise Burn (2008), and with the Spokane Shock (2007). As a rookie with Spokane in 2007, Leyritz started the final nine games of the season and earned a training camp spot with the AFL's Cleveland Gladiators the following season.

Juratovac, 6-3 315, finished his collegiate career in 2010 after appearing in 41 games for the University of Idaho. This will be Juratovac's first season in the AFL.

Like Leyritz, Dodd-Masters is also an af2 veteran. Last season Dodd-Masters, 6-0 190, split time with the Central Valley Coyotes and the Stockton Lightning, registering 63 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass break-ups in 14 games.

The Shock's newest acquisitions will be eligible to play in this weekend's game as Spokane host's the Jacksonville Sharks on Spokane Tribe Field Saturday night. Tickets for the game are still available - including seats on the lower level - and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
