Shock players dish out free ice cream

The Spokane Shock are teaming up with Wishing Star for the annual Ben and Jerry's Free Cone Day on April 17th from 1 pm - 2 pm at River Park Square Mall.

Shock players - including Spokane favorite Rob Keefe - will be on hand dishing out free Ben and Jerry's ice and accepting donations for the Wishing Star Foundation. Other local celebrities will also be participating in the event with live music and entertainment all day long.

Ben and Jerry's Scoop Shops around the globe set aside one day every year to dish out free ice cream with donations being accepted to benefit a local charities of chosen by the owner of each shop.

Shock players will dish out ice cream from 1-1:30, followed by an autograph session from 1:30-2 PM.

The Shock will host the Lubbock Renegades this Saturday at 5 PM at the Spokane Arena. Some tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling 325-SEAT.
