Shock Continue to Shuffle Training Camp Roster

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that WR Donte Davis and WR Jacob Payne have been added to the 2012 roster. DB Lemetrius Davis was placed on re-assignment. Spokane placed WR Verran Tucker on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and activated OL Isaiah Agson from the list.

Donte Davis, 5-11 185, attended Syracuse University from 2006-2009. During his time at Syracuse, Davis collected 62 receptions for 653 yards with three touchdowns. In 2006, Davis was one of only four true freshmen to suit up for Syracuse. As a senior, Davis was used as a triple threat: as a receiver, a running back and a punt returner. Davis averaged 6.7 yards/carry (12 carries for 80 yards) on the ground and added 104 yards as a punt returner. He also contributed with 24 receptions - including a touchdown - for 254 yards.

Payne, 6-1 210, is entering his first year in the AFL. Prior to his professional career, Davis was used as a receiver and a running back at Grand Rapids Community College. On the ground, Payne added two touchdowns with 13 carries for 35 yards. As a receiver, he collected 33 receptions for 490 yards with nine touchdowns.
