Spokane Shock News Release
SPOKANE, Wash. (December 1, 2014) - The Shock have been assigned defensive lineman Dominique Duster to the 2015 roster.
Duster (5-11, 290, North Alabama) joins the Shock for his first season as a member of the Arena Football League after playing his collegiate career at the University of North Alabama. During his time as Lion Duster saw action in 34 games on his way to registering 94 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and four sacks.
Duster joins the team after attending Spokane's Open Tryout held in Atlanta in November where he caught the eye of Shock Coaching Staff.
"It's pretty rare that we find a player at an open tryout that we weren't already looking at and even more rare to find one that we offer a contract to," said Shock Head Coach Andy Olson. "Dominique came out and really impressed us with his athletic ability during our workout. We're looking forward to having him join us for Training Camp."
