The Spokane Shock announced today that QB Jason Murietta, 6-2 215, has been added to their 2008 roster.

In addition to being named first team all Big-Sky his senior season, Murietta was a finalist for the Walter Payton Award (the equivalent of the Heisman Trophy for I-AA schools) for the second time in his collegiate career.
"His college production alone makes us believe that he can come in and have the same success he did in the outdoor game," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said. "When we look for a quarterback, we look for production and Murietta has shown that he can produce."
The Shock's roster now stands at six players.
