
Sharks sign forward Chris Blight to PTO

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has signed forward Chris Blight to a PTO. Per club policy, terms of the deal were undisclosed.
Blight, a 6-foot, 190-pound right wing, completed his second season with the Toledo Storm of the ECHL, compiling 26 goals and adding 28 assists. Blight was the second leading scorer for the storm, notching 54 points this season.
In his two seasons with Toledo, Blight recorded 55 goals and added 60 assists, for a total of 115 points.
The Cambridge, Ontario native spent four seasons with Clarkson University and registered 96 points (40+56=96) in 144 games.
The Sharks take on the Manchester Monarchs today at 7:00 pm in game three of the Calder Cup Atlantic Division Semifinals. Manchester currently leads the series 2-0. For tickets visit the DCU Center Box Office or call the Sharks office at (508) 929-0500.
