Sharks Shorthanded for Game Two
April 6, 2011 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Rochester RazorSharks News Release
"I don't believe in house money." That was Rochester RazorSharks coach Rod Baker's message to his team at the shoot around this morning, prior to tonight's Premier Basketball League semifinal playoff series game two at Quebec. The Sharks lead the Kebs in their best-of-three series 1-0. "One won't get it done," said Baker. "Let's get two."
Rochester will play shorthanded in this one. The Sharks lost two key players to passport issues at the Canadian border on Tuesday. Point guard Jerice Crouch and forward Sammy Monroe are not with the team in Quebec. Melvin Council will start at point guard and Todd McCoy, normally a shooting guard, will back "Boom" up. They will only dress eight.
Tip off is 7:30 from Laval University. If the Sharks win, they will return home Wednesday. If not, the decisive game three will be played here in Quebec City on Friday.
