Shamrox sign Kazarian and Harasym

CHICAGO, IL November 1, 2006 - The Chicago Shamrox signed forwards Bryan Kazarian and Jon Harasym to one-year deals, in preparation for their upcoming season of indoor professional lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) starting in January at the Sears Centre arena.

Bryan Kazarian, 5'10" 195 lbs. has scored 11 goals and 38 assists for 49 total points in 49 career games. The 5-year NLL veteran spent two seasons with Albany in 2002 and 2003, and then moved to play for the Buffalo Bandits starting in 2004. Kazarian has appeared in the postseason with Albany in 2002 and then with Buffalo in 2004 through 2006.

The Shamrox also signed Josh Harasym, 5'9" 180 lbs. who played alongside Kazarian in Buffalo throughout the 2006 season and in the NLL championship game. Harasym has scored 27 goals and 36 assists for 63 total points in 46 career games.

"Kazarian and Harasym provide us with agility and speed at the forward position to give our offense depth," said Shamrox GM/Head Coach Jamie Batley. "They are experienced team players and will give us scoring punch."
