HIDALGO, TEXAS --- The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League (CHL) today announced the signing of center Tristan Senior for the 2007-08 Fifth Anniversary Season.

Senior played last season with the Huntsville Havoc (Southern Pro Hockey League) after spending the previous two seasons with the Dutch Elite Ice Hockey League's Den Haag Wolves. Senior, 26, played in all 56 games with the Havoc and finished second in team scoring with 65 points (24-41-65). He was among the top 20 in most league offensive categories and finished tied for 13th overall in scoring.

"Tristan had some success in the Southern Pro League last year," explained Killer Bees Head Coach Paul Fixter, "and we're looking forward to see him make the next step in his pro career. His addition gives us three excellent centers along with Travis Banga and Nick Warriner."

Before playing in Holland, the Peterborough, Ontario, native competed for three seasons at the University of Toronto. He accounted for 13 goals and 19 assists (32 points) in 44 career games between 2001 and 2004. Leading up to his college career, Senior split the 2001-2002 season between the Peterborough Bees and the Milton Hawks of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League, totaling 47 goals and 77 assists in 65 games.

Killer Bees season tickets are available now for the 2007-08 season, the team's fifth in the Central Hockey League. Every weekend game will be broadcast on KURV 710 AM Talk Radio, with most weekday games on ESPN Radio 1240 AM. Individual tickets will go on sale soon.
