PORTLAND, ME - Bob Raymond scored what turned out to be the deciding goal of the game with just under four minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Binghamton Senators to a 5-3 win over the Portland Pirates in Game 2 of their Atlantic Division Final Series played at the Cumberland County Civic Center tonight.

Binghamton leads the best-of seven series 2-0.

Kaspars Daugavins netted a pair of goals for the Senators while singles went to Zack Smith and Bobby Butler.

Mark Mancari paced the Pirates with two goals while Derek Whitmore also scored.

Whitmore gave the Pirates the early lead with the only goal of the opening period and Mancari made it 2-0 Portland early in the second. Mancari's second of the game tied it midway through the third but Raymond and Daugavins (into an empty net) completed the scoring.
