
Senators and Akron play to 5-5 tie

Opening Night 2008 is going to last a little longer for the Harrisburg Senators and Akron Aeros. The two teams played to a 5-5 tie before the field became too wet to continue. The rain started in the bottom of the 4th inning and continued the entire evening.
The opening night will start up in the top of the 10th with Akron batting at 5:05pm Friday night. The regularly scheduled game will then follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.
