
Selvy Named CBA Player of the Year

LAWTON, OKLA-The Oklahoma Cavalry is proud to announce forward Daryan Selvy as Continental Basketball Association's Player of the Year for the 2007-08 season. Selvy was voted upon by the ten CBA head coaches.
Selvy was the main scorer for the Cavs. Averaging 22.7 points per game, he ranked second in scoring for the league. He finished fourth in steals with 1.8 per game, grabbed 6.5 rebounds per game, shot 50% from the field, and 85.8% from the free throw line. Selvy's highest scoring game came against the Rio Grande Valley Silverados on Jan. 3 pouring in 38 points.
"I'm so proud of him, and the way he came in and accepted responsibility," said Coach Richardson. "As a coach, I hope that he will take his game to the next level. This is an award well deserved."
