Sell Tickets To Replant Oregon

PORTLAND, March 6, 2009 - In celebration of Oregon's 150th birthday, the Portland LumberJax want to Replant the Lumber. The Jax have teamed up with Scholls Valley Nursery, Old Spaghetti Factory and Friends of Trees to offer Oregon students a unique opportunity. All students are invited to sell discounted tickets to the next Jax home game against the San Jose Stealth on Sunday, March 29th at 3 p.m. For every three tickets that a student sells, the student will receive one complimentary ticket and Scholls Valley Nursery will provide one tree seedling to be planted in honor of Oregon's 150th birthday. There's a maximum of one free ticket per participant.

Classrooms are also invited to participate. The top three selling classrooms will receive complimentary meal certificates for each class member courtesy of Spaghetti Factory. The top selling classroom will have the opportunity to high-five Jax players on the turf prior to the March 29th game. The top selling individual will also receive an autographed 2009 Jax jersey.
