Select-A-Seat Open House Hosted by the Tulsa 66ers

TULSA, Okla., November 14, 2005 - The NBA Development League and the Tulsa 66ers will play host to a Select-A-Seat Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 15, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Expo Square Pavilion. Basketball fans will have the chance to watch the Tulsa 66ers at their last open practice for FREE before the first game on Friday, Nov. 18. Head coach Joey Meyer will make a short presentation following practice and the team will be available to sign autographs. Admission is free and open to the public.

Fans will also be given the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the upcoming 2005-06 66ers basketball season and hand-select their seats. For more information, contact the Tulsa 66ers office at (918) 585-8444.

About the Tulsa 66ers

The NBA Development League includes the Albuquerque Thunderbirds (N.M.), Arkansas RimRockers (Little Rock), Austin Toros (Texas), Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Fort Worth Flyers (Texas), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.) and Tulsa 66ers (Okla.).

The D-League offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Thirty-four (34) players have been called up to the NBA on 50 separate occasions. Eleven (11) former D-League coaches, six athletic trainers, 14 referees and 30 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.

The D-League is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
