
Second period dooms Blizzard

In Friday's NAHL action in Alexandria, the visiting Fargo-Moorhead Jets used a four-goal outburst in the second period, to key a 6-2 win over the Minnesota Blizzard. Six different players scored for the Jets. Fargo-Moorhead's Chris Myhro assisted on four of the six goals.
Ryan Hawkins (Eden Prairie, MN) recorded a goal and an assist for the Blizzard, which fell to 13-6-2 with the defeat. Shawn Bitzan (Alexandria, MN) notched the other Minnesota goal.
The two teams play again Saturday, November 27th, at 7:15 PM in Wahpeton, North Dakota. This begins a series of five straight road games for the Blizzard, which will travel to Montana this coming week, to play Billings, Bozeman, and Helena.
