Alexandria Blizzard News Release

Saturday night's Minnesota Blizzard Junior ‘A' Hockey game vs. the Fargo Moorhead Jets at Wahpeton ND had to be postponed due to the ice surface deemed unsafe by the officials. The Blizzard and the Jets actually played a little more than one period of hockey. When the game was stopped Fargo-Moorhead led 2-0 in the second period. The ice on one end of the rink started to break up and the officials said play was not to continue. No word as yet when the make-up game would be played.
