Second Brazilian Signs With Ontario Fury

The Ontario Fury, Driven by Mark Christopher Chevolet, are proud to announce the fourth player to its inaugural roster, Luis Guilherme Navega Dias, who is better known as Tiguinho in the soccer world. Per club policy, terms of the agreement will not be announced.
Tiguinho began playing indoor soccer, or futsal, in his native Brazil at the age of 10. As he progressed in his soccer career, he played both indoors and outdoors. He played in Brazil's National Futsal League in 2006, before signing to play in the Major Indoor Soccer League in 2007. He has played for the New Jersey Ironmen, Missouri Comets and Wichita Wings, where he was a teammate of recent Fury-signee Sanaldo for the 2012-13 season.
"Tiguinho is another proven talent in the pro indoor circuit," said Bernie Lilavois, the Fury's president and head coach. "I vividly remember when he came into the league with the New Jersey Ironmen and my team at the time almost traded for him. I wasn't about to pass up on him again and am excited about having him join our roster for our first season with the Fury. He will have a huge impact for us from the get go."
A forward/midfielder, Tiguinho led the MISL in assists in the 2012-13 season with 28. He posted three assists in four contests on the season, and scored seven goals in the Wings' 23 games last season.
Tiguinho is looking forward to joining the Fury in preparation for the 2013-14 Professional Arena Soccer League season.
"I am very happy to be part of this organization and play for the Ontario Fury," Tiguinho said. "I am sure we will have a great season and I hope all the fans join us in the quest for a championship. I would like to thank coach Lilavois for making this opportunity possible and can't wait to begin the season."
The Ontario Fury will play its inaugural game Oct. 26, a preseason contest against Toros Mexico at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Tickets, including season and group options, are on sale now. Season tickets start at $90 per seat for the 10-game home schedule.
