
Sebastien Le Toux Agrees to Multi-Year Marketing Deal with Bimbo

Chester, Pa. (March 2, 2011) - Philadelphia Union forward Sebastien Le Toux has signed a multi-year marketing deal that will make him the face of team partners Bimbo Bakeries USA and PPL EnergyPlus, the club announced today. The Union's first ever Major League Soccer All-Star selection, Le Toux racked up 14 goals and 11 assists last season to post the highest combined total in the League.
"I am so honored that both Bimbo Bakeries and PPL EnergyPlus have chosen me to represent their incredible brands," said Le Toux. "They are both very successful companies and I am proud to be a part of helping to increase exposure for both them and the Union over the next few years."
Le Toux will be featured in various in-store promotional campaigns and make appearances for Bimbo, who has signed on to be the Union's jersey partner for the next four years. Headquartered in Horsham, Pa., Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) operates 34 bakeries in the United States and distributes top brands such Arnoldé, Oroweaté, Thomas'é, Entenmann'sé, Stroehmanné, Mrs Baird'sé, Freihofer'sé, Bimboé and Bobolié through more than 8,000 routes.

PPL EnergyPlus, the exclusive energy partner of the Union and naming rights partner for PPL Park, will use Le Toux for appearances and promotions, including in-stadium signage.

The Union begin the 2011 season at the Houston Dynamo on March 19th and return home to open PPL Park on March 26th against MLS newcomer Vancouver Whitecaps.
