Orlando SeaWolves News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando SeaWolves will look to bounce back after an opening day loss to their in-state rivals, the Florida Tropics, as they once again host the team from Lakeland on Thursday, December 5th, with kickoff set for 7:35 p.m. EST. The match will be televised online at masl.tv.
"The goals are going to come," Head Coach Chris Kokalis said Saturday. "I've told the guys we need to be patient, we'll stick to our gameplan and the rest will fall into place."
The SeaWolves and Tropics played a close game in their first meeting on November 22nd, with the road team beating out Orlando 3-2. Jonny Mendoza and Richard Schmermund scored the goals for the SeaWolves.
The Tropics enter the game having also only played Orlando thus far in the season. After a week off for the holidays, both teams will look to reassert themselves as they prepare for the bulk of the season.
This will be the second of six meetings between the two teams this season. The SeaWolves hold the all-time record with four wins and three losses.
Following Thursday's game, the SeaWolves will travel to Baltimore for the first road match of the season, as they take on the Blast on Saturday, December 7 at 6:05 p.m. ET.
