Orlando SeaWolves News Release
Orlando, FL - After falling in a close match to the St. Louis Ambush, the Orlando SeaWolves once again host the Baltimore Blast for the second time this season on Thursday, January 30th at 7:35 p.m. EST. The match will be televised online at masl.tv.
"Any time you can get a win against a club like the Baltimore Blast, that's a feather in your cap." Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "I have the utmost respect for Danny Kelly, their head coach, and what he's done with his team, and the championships he's won. But last time was last time. We have to go out and make sure that we can do it again."
This will be the third time the SeaWolves and Blast play each other this season, with still three more after to play. The two teams faced each other to begin the season in Baltimore, where the Blast took a 14-5 win, while the other game resulted in the only win on the season thus far for the SeaWolves, as they pulled out a 5-4 win.
The Blast are coming off a weekend where they went 1-1 vs the San Diego Sockers and Harrisburg Heat. Forward Vini Dantas, who has scored six of his now 20 goals against Orlando, is coming off a six-goal weekend with two back-to-back hat tricks to his credit.
Following Thursday's game, the SeaWolves will host the San Diego Sockers on Thursday, February 6th. That game will kick off at 7:35 p.m.
