Orlando SeaWolves News Release

ORLANDO, FL: The Orlando SeaWolves will kick off their inaugural Major Arena Soccer League season with a three game homestand. The first of these games will come against the St. Louis Ambush on Friday evening at 7:35 p.m. EST at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee. The match will be televised online at masl.tv.

"Training has been excellent," SeaWolves Head Coach Tom Traxler said. "You always sense when the first games coming and you're going to start really kicking the ball in anger and their response to that has been phenomenal. Energetic, lively, incredibly engaged, they've taken on a lot of the new concepts we're putting forward so I think that they're more than excited for Friday, as everyone is, but they're prepared and ready and I think mentally in a really good place."

The SeaWolves will have a number of former Ambush players on the field on Friday, including Gordy Gurson, Dylan Hundelt, Luiz Mota, Richard Schmermund and Piotr Sliwa.

St. Louis enters the 2018-19 season after a 3-19 season, along with a 2-9 record away from home. Returning this season is the Ambush's leading goalscorer, Corey Adamson, who scored 14 goals the prior season.

This will be the first of four meetings between the two teams. One more home game and two away in St. Louis in the season series for the SeaWolves.

Following this weekend's games, the SeaWolves will have a week off before they host the Baltimore Blast on Friday, December 14 at 7:35 p.m. EST.

Tickets for Friday night's game are still available starting at just $15. Tickets can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or in person at the Silver Spurs Arena Box Office. Doors for the 7:05pm match open at 6:35pm. There will be $2 draft beers, sodas, and hotdogs at the concession stands from doors open till kickoff.
