ORLANDO, FL - Orlando SeaWolves goalkeeper Rainer Hauss has been called up to the Brazilian National Minifootball Team and is currently with the team in Guatemala for the Pan American Memorial Minifootball Cup.

The nine-nation tournament, which runs from today through June 12, is a qualifier for the 2019 World Minifootball Federation World Cup. Hauss previously represented Brazil in the 2017 WMF World Cup in Tunisia last October.

"We are very proud of Rainer and wish him a lot of success except when they play the US, of course," said SeaWolves General Manager Chris Kokalis. "Our players play at a high level and their talent affords them a lot of exciting soccer opportunities all over the world."

"It's a great honor to represent my home country of Brazil," said Hauss, "and it will also be the first time I can say I am there representing the Orlando SeaWolves as well, so I'm very excited."

The tournament is scheduled to be shown live on Eleven Sports, which is channel 623 on DIRECTV. Check local listings for schedules and times.

Season tickets are on sale now for all 12 Orlando SeaWolves home games starting as low as $10 per game. Go to http://www.orlandoseawolves.com/tickets to reserve yours today.
