Orlando SeaWolves News Release

Orlando, Florida - The Orlando SeaWolves have signed former Cedar Rapids Rampage, Milwaukee Wave and St. Louis Ambush defender Alex Tozer to the team for the rest of the season. Per team and league policies, no further details were disclosed. Tozer will be available for Thursday's match against the San Diego Sockers.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tozer is the son of legendary indoor soccer player and coach Keith Tozer. His playing career started with the Milwaukee Wave reserve squad, eventually earning a promotion to the pro team in the second half of the 2014-15 season where he appeared in two games.

Alex then joined the Cedar Rapids Rampage for the 2015-16 campaign, tallying two goals and 19 blocked shots while appearing in 19 of the team's 20 games and earning an "honorable mention" on the league's All-Rookie Team. Tozer has also played for the US National Futsal Team throughout his career.

Tozer has most recently spent time with the St. Louis Ambush as well as coaching the boys' varsity team at Oak Creek High School in Wisconsin.

"Really excited to have a player of Alex's experience coming in," Head Coach Tom Traxler said, "He's a defender, he's been in the league, everyone knows his last name and all his experience is invaluable, especially to us."
