Norfolk Admirals News Release

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced that their 2002-03 season ticket drive, which officially kicked off on April 15, has already seen numerous season ticket holders renew their seats for next season.

"We have had a good response already," stated Todd McKeating, Norfolk Admirals Director of Operations. "If the renewals and new season ticket purchases continue to roll in, we'll be well on our way to 3,500 in no time. I am excited to see such a positive reaction."

The campaign, slated as "Admirals Hockey, Say, 'Yes!'," has generated an abundance of renewals by existing season ticker holders. Among the earliest renewals are: Norfolk - Pete Rosa; Virginia Beach - Laura Anglesby, Douglas Burghart, Mark Kantro, Mike Medairos, Arthur Melchers, Petey Reynolds; Chesapeake - Tony Bruner, George Fisher, Bill O'Neill; Knotts Island - Teresa Hassell; Yorktown - Richard Strunk.

Fans can support the season ticket drive by placing a $50 deposit per seat. All deposits will be held in trust until the goal of 3,500 tickets is reached, at which time they will be forwarded to the Admirals.

The Admirals are in their second season as a member of the American Hockey League.

Season tickets for 2002-2003 are as follows, with the previous price in parentheses: Gold Section $475.00 ($480.00), Blue Section $375.00 ($435.00), White Section $275.00 ($280.00). The Navy Section, now phased out, was priced at $395.00 for a season ticket, and has been incorporated into either the Blue Section or White Section, depending on seating area.

Those interested in renewing their season tickets for 2002-2003, or those interested in making a new season ticket purchase can do so today by calling the Admirals office at (757) 363-1900 or by logging on to the Admirals website at www.norfolkadmirals.com and, from the home page of the site, clicking on the link, "Buy Your Season Tickets!"
