ROCKFORD - The Rockford Thunder of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) announced today that they would hold its annual season ticket holder party on Tuesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at The Firefly Restaurant and Bar (5040 N. 2nd St.) in Loves Park.
Fans and sponsors that have purchased their season tickets in advance are invited to attend the party beginning at 6 p.m. Special food and beverage items will be available for purchase and all Thunder merchandise will be on sale. Season ticket holders receive 10% off of all merchandise purchases during the entire season.
The Firefly will offer special drink and food specials during the entire party.
Immediately following the season ticket holder party will be the All Fan Meet and Greet, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. All Thunder fans are encouraged to stop by The Firefly for food, drinks and autographs. Thunder players will sign autographs until 8 p.m. on the 20th and one lucky fan will leave with two season tickets for the 2008 season and one fan will win the right to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day.
Fans that have purchased their individual tickets for Opening Day 2007 will also have the chance to pick up their tickets at the event.
The Player's Pizza Pub will also be the official Saturday night postgame location for the Thunder. After each of the six Saturday games during the season, Thunder players and coaches will head over to the restaurant to sign autographs for fans.
