Florida Seals News Release

[KISSIMMEE, Fla.] -The Florida Seals are proud to welcome their youngest member to the family. On Tuesday afternoon Gail Stewart, Head Coach Tommy Stewart's wife, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. This is their second child.

Thomas Harry Stewart, IV came into the world weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces. Being a long line of Thomas's, the Stewart family will call their new son Ty. This is their second child; their oldest Hunter Kate is two.

Both baby and mom are doing well and are expected home sometime today. Tommy already plans to have Ty on skates in a few years, training to be on the ice for the Florida Seals in the future.

"Gail, Hunter Kate and I are very excited to bring Ty into this world," said Stewart. "I want to thank the ownership of the Seals for allowing me the time to spend with my family on this happy event."

Through the fun of having the new baby, Coach has still been hard at work assembling the new Florida Seals. With training camp starting in five weeks, Tommy will have to find sleep anywhere he can with the new child and a new team to pick.

Get ready for the home opener Saturday, October 29 at the Silver Spurs Arena. The puck will drop for the first ever hockey game in the arena at 7:35 pm versus the Jacksonville Barracudas.
