Seals To Participate In Asthma Walk

CELEBRATION, Fla. - Florida Seals General Manager Bryan Elliott and Community Relations Director Kristin DeCubellis are please to announce that the Seals will be participating in this weekend's American Lung Association "Blow The Whistle On Asthma" fundraising walk.

The walk will be held at Blue Jacket Park in the Baldwin Park section of Orlando, just off of General Rees Ave. Registration for walkers begins at 8 A.M. with the one mile walk set to kick off at 9 A.M.

Proceeds from the walk will help fund research and programs that assist people who have asthma. An estimated 10 million people will be affected by an asthma attack this year alone.

The Seals are proud to be assisting the American Lung Association in this worthwhile event. The team is sponsoring an information table and will have representatives on hand.

The Florida Seals are currently in preparation for the 2006-2007 (SPHL) season. The Seals return to the Silver Spurs Arena is only days away.
