Florida Seals News Release

The ? Manatees: The Orlando Seals take on the Manatees tonight, the team which formerly played its home games in Miami. The Manatees are playing out the balance of the regular season, only playing regular scheduled road games. This is the Manatees first game since February 28th.

Records: The Seals are 22-18-5 with a .554 percentage in fifth place in WHA2.

Manatees are 23-13-5 with a .622 percentage in third place in WHA2.

Season Series: The Seals and Manatees are meeting for the ninth time this season. The Seals are 3-3-2. And one of Orlando's wins also came in overtime, so three of the previous eight games have gone past regulation time.

Recent Results: The Seals dropped a 5-1 decision Friday night in Alabama. The Manatees have not played a game since February 28th when they lost 6-5 in overtime to Alabama.

Power Play: Seals 37-193 19.17% 5th Manatees 43-201 21.39% 2nd

Penalty Kill: Seals 131-169 77.51% 5th Manatees 142-184 77.17% 6th

Erin Go Seals! The Seals are hoping the luck of the Irish will be with them today as they will be wearing special St. Patrick's Day Jerseys, sponsored by Renal Dynamics. Fans will have the chance to bid on the jerseys in a silent auction with the bid sheets located across from the merchandise stand (outside section 114). Bidding will stop at the START OF THE THIRD PERIOD. When the puck drops, the bidding stops. Then throughout the third period the successful bidders will have their names announced. They should report to the merchandise stand, to pay for their jerseys. After the game they will be escorted onto the ice, to meet the player, and receive their jersey from that player.

Next Up: The Seals embark on a three game road trip that will have them playing in Macon, Jacksonville, and Alabama, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, respectively. Their next home game is Thursday March 25th, at 7:05 p.m. also against the Manatees. All Seals games are available on the internet at www.IRN.FM.
