SAN DIEGO CA - The San Diego Seals started early and pulled away late, taking down the Vancouver Warriors 13-10 in NLL action Saturday night in Southern California.
The Warriors were game throughout the evening, erasing a four-goal deficit late in the third quarter to tie the game 9-9. The Seals would regain the lead on a powerplay late in the 3rdquarter and never look back, outscoring Vancouver 3-1 in the final 15 to bring home the win.
Mitch Jones and Jordan McBride each lit the lamp four times for Vancouver in the defeat, with Jones adding two assists to bring his totals to six points on the evening. Keegan Bal had a strong night as well, scoring once and adding five helpers for six points, while Logan Schuss also added five assists for the Warriors.
Aaron Bold took the loss for Vancouver but had to leave the game with just under four minutes to play. Eric Penney finished up for Vancouver, turning aside all four shots he faced.
