
Seals Crush Warriors 16-9 in Vancouver

The San Diego Seals crushed the Vancouver Warriors tonight to improve their record to 9-2 after the 16-9 win.
Tonight's game kicked off with an reveal of Vancouver's new mascot, Timbr the Sasquatch. While it was a rare sight for fans to witness the mysterious creature with their own eyes, another Seals win was not so rare.The Seals had an electric offensive performance, maintaining their lead throughout the duration of the game with a rather dominating performance throughout the duration of the game.
Several players hit notable marks throughout the game, starting with forward and Assistant Captain, Wes Berg, who lead the team with FIVE goals. Forwards Austin Staats and Kevin Crowley both finished with hat tricks, while Curtis Dickson netted two goals, good for his 30th on the season.
Additionally, defenseman Danny Logan had a memorable night, scoring his first career goal. Congrats Danny!
The Seals have some exciting doubleheader action on the horizon. The team will be traveling to Dickies Arena to take on Panther City on Friday, March 24, and immediately return to San Diego for a 7pm PT matchup against the Buffalo Bandits at Pechanga Arena San Diego on March 25.
The Bandits currently sit at the top ranking in the Eastern Division with a 10-2 record, and look to challenge the Seals as the top team in the West. Could it be a glimpse into a potential 2023 championship game? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure. This matchup of these two powerhouses will be a historic night in the world of sports, as it is the FIRST EVER Godzilla themed sporting game in the US.
The Seals will rep special edition Godzilla jerseys for the matchup against Buffalo, and fans can expect Godzilla-themed entertainment to ensue all night long, including photo ops with Godzilla and a special postgame screening of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla on the jumbotron immediately following the game.
