MATCH PREVIEW:
It has been a busy start to the month for SD Loyal and it won't get any slower. SD Loyal is back on the road for another USL Championship match against New Mexico United. This will be SD Loyal's fourth match in 15 days, including its 2-0 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open debut win over Albion San Diego on April 5. Tomorrow will be SD Loyal's third road match this season. Head Coach Nate Miller's squad is coming off a 2-1 win at home against FC Tulsa last week after drawing Phoenix Rising FC 2-2 the weekend before. The club will try to extend its points streak in Albuquerque before heading into a busier part of the month that has the club playing three matches in seven days: two league matches at home (Tampa Bay Rowdies, April 23; El Paso Locomotive FC, April 29) sandwiched between a Third Round U.S. Open Cup road match against MLS side Seattle Sounders FC on April 26. Last place New Mexico is coming off consecutive losses in USL Championship play to Oakland Roots SC (1-0) and Monterey Bay F.C. (4-2).
