Monterey Bay Football Club Visits Echo Valley Elementary School in Salinas

SEASIDE, Calif. - Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) forward Jesús Chuy Enríquez and midfielder Nevello Yoseke visited Echo Valley Elementary School of the North Monterey County Unified School District in Salinas, California on Thursday, April 13. Enríquez and Yoseke received gift bags from the school upon arrival and participated in a Q&A hosted by the students before joining them out on the grass to each coach a half of the school's soccer club in a lighthearted scrimmage.

"I've always loved giving back to the community," said Enríquez. "Seeing all those kids at Echo Valley laugh, smile and be happy to see us and play the game was a blessing."

"It was amazing just being out there with the kids. I know it means a lot to them because I was once their age and having our local professional soccer players come to our school, I remember being so excited," Yoseke said. "Being out in the community is great for us at Monterey Bay F.C. too because we want to let the community know that we care, especially the kids. They could be the next generation to play for this Club so it's very important."
