- PLAYER OF THE WEEK GOES POLISH

Scorpions Polish striker, Tomas Zahorksi, was named as the NASL Player of the Week for the 11th round of Fall Season play. The 28-year-old scored the game-winning goal in the October 13th match against FC Edmonton, bringing his tally to eight goals in 11 matches.

- CONSECUTIVE CLEAN SHEETS

The Scorpions have kept a clean sheet in back to back matches (10/5 vs. ATL, 10/13 vs. FCE) marking the first time all season that the club held their opponent scoreless in consecutive matches.

- THE UNSELFISH VETERAN

Scorpions midfielder, Javier Saavedra, collected his seventh assist of the season on 10/13 vs. FC Edmonton. The Mexican is now tied atop of the assist leaderboard in the NASL in 2013.
