San Antonio Scorpions News Release
At A Glance:
- QUITE A CROWD
With their 2013 NASL home season wrapped up, the Scorpions average NASL home attendance sits at 6,937 per game. Their 2013 home opener drew the highest NASL crowd this year (8,177) while their exhibition against Tigres drew a record 8,255. 10/26 vs. the Cosmos drew 7,702 fans.
- CROATIAN IRON MAN
With one match remaining in 2013, it looks as if defender Luka Vucko will play every minute of NASL action this season. The Croatian has amassed 2,250 minutes played in 25 starts and would be the only NASL player to play in every second of NASL matches in 2013.
- POLISH PREDATOR
Polish striker, Tomasz Zahorski, has lit up the scoresheet since joining the Scorpions between the Spring and Fall Seasons. He has scored nine goals in just 12 matches, marking the most goals for an NASL player in the Fall Season.
