
Scorpions renew broadcast deal

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]- The New Mexico Scorpions, proud member of the Central Hockey League (CHL), and Citadel Broadcasting have agreed on a multi-year agreement to broadcast Scorpions' hockey games throughout the regular season and playoffs. 610 The Sports Animal will once again serve as the flagship home for the majority of the hockey broadcasts.
The relationship between the Scorpions and Citadel has always been strong and both parties are excited to re-establish the relationship that has been built over the years. At least 44 of the Scorpions games will be on 610 The Sports Animal, while the remaining 22 will be broadcast on KTBL 1050-AM.
"I am happy to be able to broadcast Scorpions hockey games on Citadel's stations," said Scorpions' Broadcaster Adam Minnick. "Ian Martin and Bob Clark have been great to work with during the Scorpions return to the ice and I look forward to growing the relationship with Citadel."
In addition to the broadcasts, Citadel will broadcast the Ray Edwards Show once a month on dates yet to be determined. In addition, Edwards, Scorpions' players and staff will be invited as regular guests on the Bob Clark Show, 770 KKOB-AM, and the Ian Martin Show, 610 The Sports Animal.
